Skin Tag Removal Charlotte NC | ThermoClear
Small Imperfections. Precise, Targeted Treatment.
ThermoClear treatment for selected skin tags, sebaceous hyperplasia, milias, Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra (DPN), cherry angiomas and tiny facial capillaries — customized after evaluating what the spot actually is.
At Modern Skin Clinic, ThermoClear is used for carefully selected superficial skin concerns. The goal is not to treat every bump or spot the same way, but to choose the right approach for the individual lesion.
A precise radiofrequency-based approach for selected superficial concerns that do not require treating a large surrounding area.
WHAT THERMOCLEAR CAN TREAT
Small Skin Concerns We Commonly Treat
ThermoClear is ideal for selected small, superficial concerns that can often be treated individually rather than treating a large surrounding area.
01
Skin Tags
Common on the neck, chest, underarms and other friction-prone areas.
02
Sebaceous Hyperplasia
Small persistent flesh-colored or yellowish bumps, often on the face.
03
Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra (DPN)
Small benign dark papules commonly seen on the face and neck, especially in deeper skin tones.
04
Cherry Angiomas
Small bright-red vascular spots that commonly appear on the face or body.
05
Tiny Facial Capillaries
Selected small visible vessels around the nose, cheeks and other facial areas.
06
Selected Benign Superficial Lesions
Some small cosmetic lesions may be appropriate for treatment after evaluation.
Important: Not every bump, brown spot or skin growth is appropriate for cosmetic treatment. Anything suspicious, changing, bleeding, irregular or uncertain should be medically evaluated first.
THERMOCLEAR IN CHARLOTTE
What Is ThermoClear?
ThermoClear uses precise radiofrequency energy through a very fine treatment tip to target selected superficial skin imperfections.
It can be especially useful when the concern is small and localized, such as a skin tag, tiny red vessel, cherry angioma, Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra (DPN) or selected sebaceous hyperplasia.
Because not every bump or spot is appropriate for cosmetic treatment, evaluation comes first. If a lesion is suspicious, changing, bleeding, irregular or uncertain in diagnosis, medical evaluation may be needed before cosmetic removal.
The question is not simply, “Can ThermoClear remove it?” The first question is, “What exactly are we looking at?”
COMMON CONCERNS
What Can ThermoClear Treat?
ThermoClear may be considered for a number of small superficial skin concerns after appropriate evaluation.
Skin Tags
Small soft growths commonly found on the neck, chest, underarms and other friction-prone areas.
Sebaceous Hyperplasia
Small flesh-colored or yellowish bumps often seen on the forehead, cheeks or nose.
Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra (DPN)
Small benign dark papules commonly found on the face and neck, particularly in deeper skin tones.
Cherry Angiomas
Small bright-red vascular spots that can appear on the face or body.
Tiny Facial Capillaries
Selected fine superficial vessels may be treated when appropriate.
Selected Benign-Looking Spots

SKIN TAG REMOVAL CHARLOTTE NC
Targeted Skin Tag Removal
Skin tags are common, harmless growths that often show up in areas of friction such as the neck, chest, underarms and skin folds.
For appropriate lesions, ThermoClear allows individual skin tags to be treated with focused energy instead of treating the surrounding skin broadly.
If you have multiple skin tags, pricing and treatment time depend on the number, size and location of the areas being treated.
SEBACEOUS HYPERPLASIA
Sebaceous Hyperplasia Treatment in Charlotte
Sebaceous hyperplasia can appear as small, persistent bumps on the forehead, nose or cheeks. These bumps are related to enlarged oil glands and can be frustrating because they often do not respond to standard acne products.
Selected lesions may be treated with ThermoClear when appropriate. Because facial bumps can have different causes, proper evaluation is important before treatment.
Small Dark Facial Papules
Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra (DPN) appears as small benign brown-to-dark papules, most often on the face and neck.
DPN REMOVAL CHARLOTTE NC
Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra Treatment in Charlotte
DPN can become more noticeable over time and is especially common in deeper skin tones. The small papules often appear on the cheeks, temples, forehead, around the eyes and neck.
Selected DPN lesions may be treated individually with ThermoClear after appropriate evaluation. Because skin type and the number of lesions can affect treatment planning, the approach is customized rather than using the same settings for every client.
CHERRY ANGIOMAS + CAPILLARIES
Tiny Red Spots & Fine Facial Vessels
ThermoClear may also be used for selected small vascular concerns, including tiny facial capillaries and cherry angiomas.
Larger areas of redness or more diffuse vascular concerns may be better suited to IPL, BBL or another vascular-focused treatment.
Best suited to selected small individual vessels or spots.
IPL / BBLOften better for broader redness or diffuse photodamage.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your ThermoClear Appointment
Evaluate
We first look at the area and decide whether ThermoClear is an appropriate cosmetic treatment.
Treat
The selected spot is treated precisely using a fine ThermoClear tip.
Heal
The area may look red, slightly swollen or crusted as it heals. Avoid picking or aggressively exfoliating the treated site.
Reassess
Some concerns may need more than one treatment depending on size, depth and response.
THERMOCLEAR PRICING CHARLOTTE NC
How Much Does Skin Tag Removal Cost?
ThermoClear treatment at Modern Skin Clinic typically ranges from $150 to $350.
Pricing depends on the number, size, type and location of the areas being treated. A single small concern and multiple areas are not priced the same way.
Not Every Spot Should Be Treated Cosmetically
WHEN TO SEE A DERMATOLOGIST
Some Lesions Need Medical Evaluation First
Cosmetic treatment should not replace medical evaluation of a lesion that is suspicious, changing, bleeding, irregular, painful or uncertain in diagnosis.
If I am not comfortable treating a spot cosmetically, I may recommend that you have it evaluated by a dermatologist before proceeding.

EXPERIENCE MATTERS
ThermoClear Treatment With Nina Crytser
I have worked in professional skin care since 2003 and use ThermoClear as one of several technologies available for small superficial concerns.
I do not approach every bump or spot as though it needs the same treatment. The first step is identifying whether the area looks appropriate for cosmetic treatment and whether ThermoClear is actually the best option.
“The first question isn't ‘Can ThermoClear remove it?’ It's ‘What exactly are we looking at?’”— Nina Crytser
